As we all adapt to an uncertain time with COVID-19 (coronavirus), we are monitoring the news carefully and prepared to take every precaution necessary to make our wedding safe for our guests. As we get closer to the new wedding date we will keep you up to date if changes are made. We also understand that you may need to adjust your yes RSVP to a no based on daily changes in information and you or a loved ones health. All we ask is that you please inform us of any changes so we may plan accordingly. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
Holly Hills follows Frederick County guidelines. As of June 2021, it is highly recommended that guests who are not fully vaccinated still wear a mask. Holly Hills employees are also still required to wear a mask per corporate policies. Guests who are vaccinated but are not comfortable being without a mask, can of course still wear one. As we get closer to October, we will continue to keep you up to date if changes are made.
The venue recommends arriving 30 minutes early (11:00am), to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the ceremony started as scheduled.
As per venue guidelines no jeans are allowed on the golf course, so we recommend slacks instead. Be mindful of your shoe choice as the ceremony will be outside on the lawn.
We truly love your children. Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party. Let our wedding be your afternoon off.
If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
We are having an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from taking and posting pictures during that time. You are welcomed to take pictures before and after the ceremony.
Yes, and it is free. Both the ceremony and reception are at Holly Hills Country Club, which has a spacious parking lot out front.
October weather can sometimes be unpredictable. We suggest bringing a sweater/light jacket or sunglasses/sunscreen based on the forecast that morning.
We will begin outdoors on the lawn for the ceremony and move indoors for the reception.
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
