Adam and Amanda met around 1993, when they were 14 and in middle school. He may or may not have given her a hickey back then. In high school they had no classes together and didn't see each other at all. Fast forward to 2017 when Amanda answered the door to see Adam standing there, needing a signature for a FedEx delivery. Then there were several seemingly random encounters that really felt like the universe was trying to tell them something... Eventually, they took the hint and started dating in 2018... which was so good that Adam proposed to Amanda on a beach in Costa Rica in 2021... And of course she said "YES!" immediately. It only took them 29 years from that first alleged hickey to the altar, but they finally made it.
