Dresscode?

Our invitation says Black Tie, and we’d love for this to be a fun chance to dress up! The groom, groomsmen, and the fathers of the bride and groom will all be in tuxedos, but guests are welcome to wear either a tuxedo or a suit—whatever you feel most comfortable and confident in. For the ladies, formal dresses are perfect! Tea-length or longer is preferred, but above all, wear something you love and feel great in. We’re aiming for a classic, elegant vibe—but don’t stress! Think of it as your excuse to dress up and celebrate with us in style.

What about parking?

Answer

No worries—there will be plenty of parking at both the ceremony and the reception! The church has ample parking for all guests, so finding a spot there will be easy. For the reception, parking will be close by. You’ll find spaces in the yard of the neighbor’s house just to the right when facing the reception house, as well as along the road across the street. There will be signs to help guide you, so you won’t have to guess where to go.

Can I bring a plus one?

We’ve put a lot of thought into our guest list and have tried to account for everyone we’d love to have with us on our special day. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be addressed by name or say "and guest." Since it's a more flexible, intimate event (with a backyard reception and church seating), we’re happy to hear from you if there’s someone you feel we may have missed or if you’d like to discuss bringing someone along. Just give us a heads-up! The same thing goes for children! If you plan on bringing an infant or child that will be in need of a high chair, please let us know so we can accommodate.

What will the food and drink be like?

Answer

We’re so excited to have a catered buffet-style dinner, with something for everyone! There will be a delicious chicken dish, along with a vegetarian option, so you’ll definitely find something to enjoy. During the cocktail hour, we’ll have an appetizer-style charcuterie table to nibble on while you mingle! There will also be a bar area serving beer, wine, and a selection of mixed drinks, all included for your enjoyment. We’ll have a couple of bartenders on hand to make sure everyone is well taken care of. 🍻🍷🍸 We hope you come hungry and thirsty—we’ve got a great spread planned!
