2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Backyard Casual
We plan to have an afternoon Welcome to Erie gathering the day prior at our house since many of our guests are from out-of-town, but all guests are invited. We are planning to have food, alcholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Live band plays from 3-6pm. Please bring the kiddos!
4:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The Nuptials
Update on 5/18/24: We plan to exchange our nuptials around 4pm. All guests are welcome to join with a cold beverage as this is also the place of the reception. The bar will open as early as 315pm. We like to keep it simple.
4:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Update as of 1/5/24: Kids or No Kids? We plan to have an adult-only-ish reception at the same place where the nuptials are exchanged. We know many of our friends have kids and they may not have a sitter, so please bring them with you! We also understand that many of our friends/family with kids, their parents are their sitters and we have invited their parents. So again, bring the kids! We'd rather have you celebrate with us, than miss out because of sitter issues. Open Bar - Drink of Choice: We will have an open bar that we bring in, so please let us know your favorite drinks/mixers. Whatever we don't drink, just gets added to our personal stockpile. Win-Win for everyone! Also, please let us know of any non-alcoholic requests, too. Otherwise, we will plan on variety of pop and water. Food: We booked one of the best BBQ places. We will have a variety of meats - my personal request has been chicken wings - and sides. Plus, a tasty yummy dessert bar.
10:00 pm
Update as of 1/5/24: Assuming everyone still has energy, we will be hosting back at our house with music, drinks and leftovers! Probably a big bon fire and s'mores if we pull everything together. We do encourage folks to Uber and/or carpool to our house (and the wedding event) because parking is limited to the driveway and front lawn (we classy) and street parking is unavailable due to the fact we live on a country road.
