Maid of Honor
Amy, Alex's younger (and even shorter) sister, lives back home in Salem, OR. She's mama to the cutie patootie flower girls and is one HECK of a baker. Make sure you visit Alex and Adam's bride/groom cake on wedding day. It's sure to be a masterpiece! Amy is the only one that can truly get Alex cry laughing til she can't breathe. You should see these two texting each other.
Bridesmaid
Justine & Alex met in 1st grade at Queen of Peace Catholic School in Salem, OR! Justine is the OG, Alex's oldest friend. In elementary school, Justine & Alex wrote notes to each other and put them in each other's cubbies. Let's just say Justine didn't like Alex having other best friends and she let her know it ;) Justine switched schools after 4th grade, but the friendship stayed strong! True lurve.
Bridesmaid
It was the 7th grade. Alex's locker was above one that belonged to a tall, blonde, popular volleyball player named McKenna. They met, but didn't really become friends until next year in Mrs. Moran's 8th grade science class. The rest is history! Alex convinced McKenna to move to Denver in 2011 and they spent a few years as Cap Hill roomies. Today, they are as close as ever. Even though they’re both married (soon to be!), McKenna will always be Alex’s “wifey.” ❤️
Bridesmaid
When Alex went to Gonzaga, she was paired up with a random roommate in the Freshman dorm. While this could've gone very, very badly (we've all heard the horror stories), it instead marked the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Alex and Meredith drank a lot of terrible vodka and Carlo Rossi together back in the day (fortunately, they've both moved on to quality gin gimlets). Alex thanks her stars every day for landing Mere as a roomie in 2006. PS Meredith is your go-to-girl for any Alex-era college stories...
Bridesmaid
Alex met Jessa in Summer 2010. Both had just moved to Denver, were working for Corner Bakery Cafe, and lived in Cap Hill. Alex loved Jessa's dry, sarcastic humor and they became fast friends. Alex still can't quite believe she got such an amazing "First Colorado Friend." Fun fact: Jessa later worked for the Tavern, which is where a certain Adam Fitterer worked. Jessa is the reason Alex & Adam met. So Jessa gets the bill for this wedding?? ;)
Bridesmaid
Charlotte and Alex met in November 2011 while working at Corner Bakery Cafe. They immediately bonded over many things (music, wine, books - and of course also their mutual hatred for cutting fruit trays and pushing catering carts around downtown Denver). They quit that gig at the same time to move on to greener pastures, but never lost touch. You can often find these two enjoying bubbly together on the weekends, feeling ever-so-fortunate for landing in each other's lives!
Bridesmaid
When Adam told Alex he had a twin sister, Alex couldn't wait to meet her. Ashleigh has a heart of gold and is passionate about many things (ask her about soccer!) It's clear Ashleigh loves her womb buddy very much, even if the two of them famously argue within three minutes of seeing each other (ask any Fitterer). Alex lucked out with getting a future Sister-In-Law like Ashleigh!
Best Man
When they were 5 years old, Adam & Dylan met in Aurora, CO when they both played for The Sharks soccer team. In their teen years, they reconnected through skateboarding. From rowdy nights in high school to being in each other’s weddings, these two have been through allllll the things together! 25 years of friendship is a gift.
Groomsman
Bobby is Adam’s oldest (and smallest) brother. These two share many interests; Adam credits Bobby with influencing his “good” taste in music, motorcycles, & paddle boarding. Adam loves Bro Bro!
Groomsman
Mike is Adam’s middle brother. As kids, they were inseparable: Wrestle Mania? Video games? Skateboarding? They did it all together. As adults, they were roomies (Alex even lived with these two Fitts for a bit!) They keep each other on their toes with jokes & memes. Adam loves Brew Bra.
Groomsman
Murphy & Adam met in Broadcasting class in high school. After memorable evenings spent in Momma J’s garage, Steamboat camping trips, and nights at The Ranch, these two developed a close bond. Willy woooo!!!!!!
Groomsman
Adam met Carl through Murphy in 2009. From duck hunting to camping to watching The Bachelorette with their ladies, these guys have shared many special moments. Adam & Carl are always down to enjoy a beer or some scotch together.
Groomsman
Ol’ Lundberg. Adam met Aaron when they both worked at The Tavern Uptown. They enjoyed romping around Cap Hill together for a few years causin’ mischief & mayhem. Adam thanks the restaurant biz for giving him a friend like Aaron.
Groomsman
Adam met Jason, Charlotte’s husband, through Alex when they first started dating in 2014. Have you heard Jason speak? He could be Adam’s third brother. Those deep voices are distinct! These guys enjoy poker, golf, and having “Guys’ Nights” when the ladies aren’t around.
Dog of Honor / Best Dog
Yes, the fur child will be up there with his parents when they tie the knot. Alex & Adam brought MD home when he was 8 weeks old in 2015. He’s their baby! Mayday promises to be on his very best behavior on wedding day.
