With this dress code, tuxedos aren't required, but men can still wear a tux if desired. Otherwise they can select a more formal suit and tie of a dark colour. For women, floor-length gowns are still encouraged, but more elaborate formal cocktail dresses are acceptable.

Trains: The nearest train stations are St James, Museum and Town Hall. Each are of equal distance to us and are an easy seven-minute walk. Buses: For bus services arriving in the city centre. Alight near Hyde Park or Town Hall and simply walk east along Park Street towards Kings Cross – a 7 to 10 minute walk. How do we get from St Mary's Cathedral to Ivy Ballrooms? We would suggest walking or uber as the best option depending on how you arrived to St Mary's and if you plan on squeezing in some sneaky cocktails between the ceremony and reception ! But for a general guide, it is roughly a 15-20 min walk or a 10-15 min drive depending on city traffic and weather.
