Your passport must be valid 6 months after return date. If you do not have a passport, be aware that it may take longer than expected to receive it. Plan for it to take 3-4 months after applying for it. I know for sure that the Mitchell, SD post office does them.

How to navigate through Cancun Airport?

Prepare for it to be chaotic at the airport. Immigration lines can be a hit or miss. It can take up to 1.5 hours to go through immigration. Stay together when exiting the airport. Once you pass Customs Area, just keep walk straight to the exit. You will be forced to walk through an area targeting advertisement, sales, transportation, etc.… DO NOT talk to ANYONE here even if you see the Seasons Transfers staff (see red zone on map on the picture under gallery tab) Once you pass this area, go outside, walk to the left and look for people representing Seasons Transfer transportation (they will wear beige pants and green shirts). See pictures under the gallery tab. IMPORTANT: Timeshare staff is inside the terminal´s building. They very often tell passengers arriving to Cancún to go to platform number 16 or they may get close to you asking to see your travel documents, saying they are your local representatives. Please do not pay attention to them. Remember our airport representative will be waiting for you outside the building. Note: There is an ongoing construction in Cancun. Expect the ride to the hotel to take an hour or more. Hopefully by February they have it completed. **See Gallery for pictures to reference.

Instructions to see which card is on file and when payment will go through.

Very important that the card you used does not expire prior to getting charged or if your card is cancelled anytime now until time of charge. If you are not sure what card you used, you will need to check your reservation confirmation email. You should have received this shortly after reserving your room. The email should been from "Finest Resorts" and the subject will say something like "Finest Playa Mujeres Your Reservation Confirmation". If you scroll down in this email, your confirmation number is listed under "Stay Details". You will then go to the Finest website and click on "Manage Reservations" at the top right of the page. You will be taken to a page that says "My Bookings" and it will ask for a "Booking Reference". You then enter your CONFIRMATION NUMBER in the box. A review of your reservation will then load showing that the reservation is confirmed. If you scroll down, you will see "PAYMENT CONFIRMATION." Here you can find the card number used for the reservation. You will also see the date your payment will go through. Keep an eye on your email on the date your payment will go through. If your card is declined for any reason, you will get an email from "The Excellence Collection" informing you the charge did not go through and providing you with a link to provide a new card. It is important to get this taken care of before 24 hours is up or they will cancel your reservation. If it gets cancelled, very likely at that point the resort will be sold out and if there is a room left, you will be paying much more and will not be able to utilize the promo code.
