She is my best friend! Susan is a sassy pharmacist at Bristol Myers Squibb. Amazing friend, confidant, and my adventure buddy. She is a quiet ninja with a love for adrenaline. She laughs at the face of danger. We have gone sky diving, zip-lining, snorkeling, and have gotten inked. She is a fire cracker. Susan is a great listener, and I am a great talker - we complement one another. She also buys me a lot of things every time she goes abroad for work, and drives (fast) me places. That is a good friend and checks off all the qualities of a MOH.

John is a lawyer at Reed Smith. I knew this guy since 8th grade back in my Highland Park days. We both grew up from the same church. He is a man of God who I look up to. John is extremely intelligent, spiritual, athletic, loud and uhhh...goofy, just like me, I guess. Coffee, beer, wine or whiskey, John is the perfect drinking buddy I can ask for. Honored to have him as my Best Man!

She is my K-POP loving roommate of 5 years and a friend of 13 years! She knows me inside out and can sometimes read my mind telepathically. Intent listener and can draw out my extensive family/friend tree. She taught me the only 4 chords I needed to know on the guitar- and from then on, we jammed in jammies until we graduated. We have been on every single fad diet ever invented; in heath and in sickness, we've been through it together- except for that one semester she went abroad to London. I was lost and devasted during that portion of my schooling. We have many things in common. We both love shopping and impulsively bought a puppy during grad school. We also have an intense love for eggs.

Sandy and I got close through the theatrical show of ChinaNiteXX. I low-key look up to this guy. He can lift 400+lbs and eat 3 Rutgers fat subs! Man, now that's attractive! We got close through ChinaNite practices, gym sessions and post-workout food gorges. It's never a dull moment with this friend!

We are both easily pleased and get excited over the smallest of things. She is too cool for school. To be honest, she never would have friended me if it wasn't in the context of church. Thank God for Jesus! Grace is my good friend of 13 years! She was also my downstairs neighbor who made the best rice krispy treats and pan de quijo (Brazilian cheese bread). She provided good counsel and always had Dove dark chocolates at hand. God is amazing because this party animal is now a pastor's wife who loves to party it up with the Holy Spirit.

Joining ChinaNiteXX is probably one of my best decisions I have ever made (shout out to Sabrina). Every time Steve and I hangout, its alway filter-less, full-blown goofiness, and genuine fun. If I kept on going, it'll be a much longer post. Just one word: bromance, I love you man!

The wise counsel. She is a sage. She is Saint Mary! Mary has the answers to everything. She has a unique accent that no one in this world has, in which we called "Merynish." She can make you the tastiest smoothies, a mean lasagna, and whip up the best customized cupcakes, cookies, and brownies. If you’re feeling fancy, she can make macarons too- my hero. My very first adventure was with her in NYC before smart phones existed. We mapped out a course of all the "go-to" spots on a 3-hole punched line paper. We were true explorers. Mary was always an old-soul; I don't know what this means now what we are actually old, but I think it means that she was always ahead of her times! She kept me grounded in my faith throughout our school years.

Toby and I go all the way back to 5th grade! Hanging out with him is always a blast from the past. Our conversations range from all the dumb things we did back in our childhood (sometimes adulthood), to deep enlightenment of each other's life’s perspectives. He is the realest guy out there. Real recognizes real, and that's why I'm honored to have him as my groomsman.

Dr. Kraus or DJ AK is my day 1 in Stony Brook University. He made my hectic/stressful doctorate student years bearable and enjoyable. I'm always excited when he hits me up for our food or drinks adventures. He's simply the chillest and the most down-to-earth guy who's up to do anything.

Dann Medina is AKA Bboy Madflex, and AKA the Meme King. Dann and I connected through our common love for hip hop dancing. We danced for some of the biggest hip hop dance companies such as Fr3sh and Rhythmology during our undergrad years. If you see him on the dance floor, make room. If you think are super fly with your moves in the dance circle, please be aware he might call you out to battle. Did I mention, he also took our engagement pictures?
