If you're staying downtown and want to see an incredible collection of art, hit up the broad and then walk to Grand Central Market for lunch. Highly recommend reservations, which can be made online and are free.

The Broad

An art gallery occupying an old flour mill for the art enthusiasts that's located in the arts district downtown where Ellie's lived for the last 5.5 years. Lots of cute shops and places to sip coffee and grab a bite on the same street.

Hauser & Wirth

Ellie's favorite neighborhood coffee shop. There's another outpost at Grand Central Market.

Go get em tiger

Innovative Japanese restaurant that we both love. It's not a sushi spot and it requires a reservation, but it's worth making the time if you have it.

Kinjiro

Little sushi spot we love to frequent in the heart of Little Tokyo. Pop in and put your name on the wait list, then walk the neighborhood to work up an appetite.

Hama Sushi

It's not downtown but it's an LA institution and happens to be Adam's favorite.
