Where it all began -- We met on the corner of 3rd St and Montana Ave in Santa Monica and had our first date at Palisades Park. It lasted about four hours, but it could have gone on forever. It wasn’t just a date—it was one of the most meaningful conversations either of us had ever had. It was real, it was unfiltered, and it was filled with laughter, stories, and those moments of quiet connection that let you know something special is happening. From that day on, we were inseparable. We spent every free moment together, moved in faster than we ever thought we would, and built a home filled with love, our dog, our cat, and the life we dreamed of. We were lucky to share so many firsts—traveling the world, making new friends, and sharing countless dinners where laughter and connection always took center stage. Eventually, we found our perfect house and made it ours, designing it to feel like a true reflection of us. That home was where we celebrated, created memories, and built the foundation of what we thought 2025 would bring. This was supposed to be our year. We got engaged, celebrated Cody’s birthday, hit milestones in our careers, and were dreaming of wedding planning, travel, and everything to come. But life had other plans. In the same week we celebrated so much, we also lost so much, our home—the first home we built together, filled with so many irreplaceable memories. It’s impossible to put into words what it feels like to lose something so special, but even in the heartbreak, we’ve found strength in each other. Now, we are beginning the process of rebuilding—not just our home but our life together. It’s a journey we never expected to take, but we’re walking it hand in hand, determined to create something even more beautiful than before.
