Question

Is the wedding happening?

Answer

Yes! We decided to push back the original date for our wedding, out of concern for the health and safety of our friends and family. Our date is now June 12th, 2021.

Question

What are your Covid restrictions? Do I have to be vaccinated?

Answer

Masks are required! We are not requiring vaccination, as we both understand that access is not perfect or universal, and there are still people who haven't been able to get vaccinated yet. If you can get vaccinated, we, of course, highly recommend you do, whether you attend the wedding or not! The entire ceremony and party will be held outside. Based on the current vaccination status of our guests, we anticipate having at least 65% of our guests fully vaccinated at the time of the wedding. Current estimates on crowd immunity is 60-70%, and the tier we expect San Mateo County to be at by June allows for outdoor gatherings of up to 200 without testing or vaccination mandates. Please choose to attend based on your own level of safety, but we do believe that those who are unable to be fully vaccinated on time should be protected by a combination of crowd immunity, mask wearing, and outdoor distancing.

When should I RSVP by?

You can RSVP at any time, please send in your RSVP and make your reservations by May 13, 2021!

Is there a Room Block, and do I have to stay there?

Answer

Yes, and kind of yes! Please make a reservation in our room block at Costanoa by calling 650-879-7307 and referencing Christine and Adam's Wedding, or using booking code "B02Q19" online! We highly encourage you to book your room there, for at least the night of the 13th, since driving back along the coast late at night is not a fun choice after an excellent party! Everyone who books their rooms at Costanoa is invited to a brunch we are holding at the venue on the morning of the 13th!

What's the best airport to travel to?

Answer

Costanoa is equidistant from either SFO or SJC airports, though the drive from SFO is probably nicer. Watch our "Travel" page for a discount code for anyone flying into SFO.

How can I get to the venue if I don't have a car?

Answer

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear whatever you feel comfortable and classy in. For example: cocktail dresses, cute jumpsuits, dapper suits, a tie and slacks, covered in glitter, or a kilt (if you must.) Be as extra or as low key as you want!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! Just don't let them drink, please... And tell us their ages, if we have enough children we’ll try to hire a babysitter for a group of them.
