We started our journey on the first day of January 2017 play "catch me if you can" accidentally as we tried to meet at a Bart Station before heading into San Francisco. However, this did not go well as spotty cellphone reception led to Evan entering the train as Ada got off it, leaving the lovers separated until they made it to the city. Once together, they made their way to Pier 39, talking and laughing the whole way and even running, which Ada had told Evan he would never get her to do near minutes before. After sharing a delicious meal filled with more talking and laughter, Ada and Evan enjoyed a walk to the end of the pier, looked out over the water under the night sky, and shared their first kiss. This first of many more to come.
In the summer of 2018, Evan and Ada took a trip to Europe. Ada had a chance to show Evan beautiful Romania, but they also went to France and Greece. Little did Ada know that Evan had planned quite a surprise for her. Paris was marvelous, however, not everything went according to Evan’s plan. The Eiffel tower was closed for the weekend, and Parisians were celebrating through protests the win of the FIFA World Cup. Ada did not understand why Evan wanted to go to the top of the tower so badly. On the last day they were there, the tower opened to visitors, and Evan insisted they went. With only 3 hrs left before their plane back to Romania, they managed to get to the top. Ada was frustrated she had to go up the stairs, but the moment that was coming was worth every heavy breath! After giving Ada her birthday present - a photo-book with photos from their adventures together - Evan got on one knee and asked the big question.
Ada was born and raised in Romania. She moved to US in 2015 with her parents. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Business Administration in 2020, and now is working for PwC as an auditor. In her spare time, she likes to go for hikes, and spend time with family.
Evan was born in Indiana, and he moved to California in the earlier part of his childhood with his family. He is a successful student at UC Davis, studying Environmental Science and Management. In his free time, he is an avid archer. You can find him on the archery course or tinkering with his arrows.
