Let's Celebrate!

Our love story is my favorite. It starts right before COVID in early 2020. Chase was on lead for UGA Freshley and Abby was a freshman at the time. They were both going to St. Ann's, Jamaica for Freshley's spring break mission trip and luckily they got placed in the same small group! In Jamaica, Chase and Abby got to know each other and began their friendship. Later that summer, Chase and Abby went on a big beach trip with many people from their spring mission trip. They got very close on this trip and sparks were starting to fly (Chase even asked Abby as his first pick to be on his volleyball team:)). To their surprise, they would be moving into the same townhome neighborhood in Athens later that summer! Once they both moved in, Abby saw Chase at the pool and decided to man up and say hello. The rest is history! Just kidding... it took a couple weeks of hanging out with friend groups and many hours talking on the phone for Chase to walk over to Abby's house and ask her on their first date:). For their first date, Chase took Abby to the Athens Botanical Gardens and brought a picnic made of all of Abby's favorite brunch foods. Little did they know that 2 1/2 years later these two would get engaged at the same spot they had their first date:)
