Where to stay - Neighbourhoods in Cartagena
Cartagena is an old city, which has expanded a lot from outside it's old town. The venue is in an area called Getsemani, just outside the walled old town. This area has split into different parts, a more modern development south and the older area, which has been renovated a lot in recent years. You'll find a good selection of hotels and hostels in this neighbourhood. Inside the old town also offers a lot of places to stay, both hotels, apartments and hostels, although they might be more expensive.
