Question

Covid-19 Protocols - Health & Safety

Answer

As of now, our church and the venue are not requiring vaccinations or masks to attend. If you would like to wear a mask, feel free to do so. If you truly are not feeling well by the day of the wedding, please do not feel obligated to attend. We will understand if you need to stay home and rest. Please check back for updates on this matter as we approach the date.

Question

When and where will the ceremony take place?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel in Poughkeepsie, New York at 2:00 P.M. We suggest arriving around 1:30 P.M. For navigation purposes, the address is 185 Hudson Drive, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.

Question

When and where will the reception take place?

Answer

The reception will be held at The Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel. Cocktail hour will start at 5:30. For navigation purposes, the address is 40 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can head straight to the hotel to check-in, or find a local restaurant/bar in Poughkeepsie. Our cocktail hour will start at 5:30 P.M.

Question

Do you have hotel rooms reserved for guests?

Answer

Yes, we do have a hotel block reserved for guests to book at discounted rates. Please keep in mind that the reception is being held at the hotel. If you would like to stay the night, book your room as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that rooms will be available the day of the wedding if you decide to stay.

Question

Can I bring kids to the wedding?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair - except for our ring bearer and flower girl! We hope that this advance notice means you are able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate if we invited a guest to attend with you. While we love you and want you to enjoy the night, we cannot accommodate plus ones for all of our guests who are not married or engaged.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Formal jumpsuits are also appropriate! Please note that our ceremony will be in a church, so attire should be appropriate for the sacredness of the space.
