You are more than welcome to book accommodation other than the reserved hotel. Please keep in mind all events during our wedding weekend will be in/around downtown Brooklyn. We want to make sure our guests are comfortable with all their travel arrangements. Feel free to reach out if you have questions about accommodation in certain neighborhoods.

Flight

Airports

For guests flying in, we recommend using either JFK or LaGuardia airports. Both are located in Queens, about a 30 to 45 minute drive from downtown Brooklyn. Ride share/taxi services at the airport are pretty efficient. It should be easy to book a ride to your accommodation after you land. Please let us know when you have arrived safely!

Train

Getting around

We recommend using public transit while traveling around the city. It is sustainable and more cost effective and reliable than driving. All buses and trains in NYC accept Apple Pay or you can tap your card to pay. You can use your phone’s maps app to check train and bus times. You can also use the myMta app. The MTA travel guide is linked below. Ride share apps are also a great option.

Travel Note

Driving

If you are driving up for the weekend, please note that parking in New York is notoriously limited. You may be able to find metered street parking, or if preferred, private parking garages can easily be found nearby. Please be aware that the city now charges a congestion toll for vehicles entering Manhattan. Click the link for more info.
