When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You will receive a formal wedding invitation late April and/or early May. Please RSVP no later than July 23rd, 2023.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults only event.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, there is a dress code. Think "Coastal Chic," something along the lines of airy, chiffon, pastel midi dress or jump suits. For formalwear, please exclude black and/or dark palette suit or dress options. A mix between formal and semi-formal attire. For inspo: https://pin.it/4X9gq7Y

Are you registered? Where?

We are registered through Zola! We will provide those details closer to the wedding date.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You can plan on arriving 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. If you plan on staying at Oceano Hotel and Spa, the Gatehouse Lawn and Gatehouse is adjacent to the hotel and is a quick 5 minute walk from any room. If you plan on staying at another location, please give yourself ample time to travel and park. Half Moon Bay is extremely busy Labor Day Weekend and Highway 1 is often grid locked going North or South. Plan on adding an additional 45-60 minutes of travel time due to holiday weekend traffic in Half Moon Bay.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We will do our best to accommodate food allergies. If you have a food allergy, please message Ashly at 530-591-2999 when you RSVP.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you stay at Oceano Hotel and Spa, you won't need any transportation to and/or from the ceremony and reception. If you stay at another location, there is ample parking at the venue or ride share options if you prefer not to drive.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception are at the same location, Oceano Hotel and Spa which has ample parking for guests and visitors.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding date falls on Labor Day Weekend which historically is an extremely busy weekend for Half Moon Bay. Expect delayed ground travel time and large crowds. Book your hotel and/or Airbnb early for best pricing and availability!
