We both have the privilege of working at Warwick bethel that is where it all began. One cold day in January, Gissi and some members of her team visited the Electrical Maintenance shop at Warwick, for a cup of Jo. Unbeknownst to her, that is where her future husband worked! Gabe walked into the shop after walking through a job with his crew overseer and noticed Gissi and some from her crew having some coffee. He decided to make himself a cup and started conversing with the group. Both had made an impression on each other in that moment but it wasn’t until later that the sparks would fan into a flame. A few weeks later, Gabe and Gissi met up in the Game Room at Warwick after the bethel family Watchtower study, with some mutual friends and they were able to see each other in a more casual setting. The next week they “coincidentally” met again in the game room with some friends. And this time, they were able to really talk and get to know each other more. The conversation went from family and childhood to their story of coming to bethel, from past assignments, to future goals. This was only the beginning. The first impression they gave each other was one that left them feeling warm inside! Gabe found Gissi breathtakingly beautiful and found her goal driven attitude to be refreshing and exciting! Gissi found Gabe to be Authentic and true to himself she found his humility to provide a sense of comfort and security, and his countenance, calming. They then began to see each other more frequently during some coordinated events, and began speaking regularly on the phone, and through text messages. Finally… on March 3rd, 2024, Gabe asked Gissi out and she said yes! The start of a blossoming relationship began. The months flew by, Gabe and Gissi were able to successfully get to know each other through a solid courtship. Immediately including Jehovah in their relationship and engaging in spiritual activities together like going to the meetings together and going out in the ministry, Special Metro dates and assemblies, made their relationship solid and gave them a good foundation. After 8 months together, Gabe took Gissi to the top of a mountain where he asked her to make him the happiest man in the world and marry him, and she said… Yes
