We're getting married!

It was September 2013 at Medaille College in Buffalo in Advanced Public Speaking. Paige, a transfer student, sat in a class of 10-15 strangers. Ace, who was beginning his senior year, sat in the same class but the only stranger to him was Paige. The class had been assigned an Impromptu presentation which was done in basically a press conference type set up. Paige stood in front of the class and everyone raised their hands to ask any question they wanted to which Paige had to answer within 1 second in 1 word. Question after question goes by and Ace becomes interested, he raises his hand to ask “do you have a boyfriend?” To which Paige answers “No”. A few more questions go by, time is running low and Paige sees Ace’s hand is back in the air and the only question left. “Will you go on a date with me?” Ace asks, pleasantly surprised Paige of course answered “Yes” and the rest is history.

On their 3 year anniversary Ace and Paige had planned dinner at Texas De Brazil. On the way home Ace suggests grabbing a drink at Amherst Ale House, one of their favorite spots. Ace tells Paige that Kyle and Katie, who were a week away from their own wedding, were getting stressed out with their plans and wanted to get together to ease the tension. As they all enjoy beers together Kyle, remembering it was Ace and Paige’s anniversary, asks how they met. Ace begins to tell the story but this time instead of saying he raised his hand to ask her out he got down on one knee and asked Paige to spend the rest of her life with him. Paige of course said yes and was then greeted by all of their friends and family who were eager to celebrate with them.
