Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Adjacent to St James 1868 are two paid public surface lots, the Library Lot and the Wells Fargo Lot, where you can pay to park. Street parking is available on 8th Street, 9th Street and Michigan Ave, only a few steps away from St. James. Street parking is free on weekdays after 6pm and free all day on Saturdays and Sundays. We also encourage you to walk (if possible) or Uber to the venue!

Where do I enter the venue?

Answer

Please enter through the red double doors past the small court yard. St. James staff will be stationed outside to ensure you are navigated to the correct entrance.

Will the wedding be indoors?

Answer

The wedding and reception will be indoors. Cocktail hour will be outdoors, weather permitting.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet with a selection of meat, veggies, and starches. Vegetarian options will be available.

As we are keeping the celebration intimate, only children of close family members are invited. If your child is not specifically mentioned on your invitation, we kindly ask that you make other arrangements for them on the day of the wedding.
