Question

When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! There is very limited availability on-site but multiple hotels off-site within a 30-mile radius. With July falling under peak tourist season, we highly recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible to ensure you have a place to stay before prices increase.

Where will the ceremony be if there is inclement weather?

Answer

In the chance of bad weather, the ceremony will be held at the Rochford Chapel. The street address is: 12580 Co Rd 306, Hill City, SD 57745

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on the invitation. If you received a plus one it will be noted on your invitation in order to RSVP.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones! You are more than welcome to bring them to celebrate with us, but we do encourage you to use this as a date night to get out and have some fun!

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please make sure to RSVP "yes" or "no" by June 25, 2025. This allows us to give our vendors a correct count prior to the wedding.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can't make it please make sure to RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly with our guest count for vendors! Please do this before June 25, 2025, when RSVPs are due.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for the evening. Feel free to wear whatever color you would like, but please no white.

Where should I stay?

Answer

First off, thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! We have provided everyone with a list of hotels or lodging near or at the venue that you may book for the night! This will be located under the travel tab with links provided to each lodging option to check availability and book!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:15 pm. To avoid being late and missing anything we recommend arriving at the cabin at Silver Creek by 3:00 pm to ensure parking and finding a seat before it starts! We will have a shuttle with limited seating leaving from Sylvan Lake Lodge at 2:00 pm to transport guests to the ceremony and return to Sylvan Lake once the ceremony has concluded.

Is there anything I should know about the Ceremony location?

Answer

Yes! For the guest that will be driving themselves to the ceremony please note there is NO cell service at the Ceremony location so please plan your travels accordingly! We will provide each guest with written directions to follow.
