FAQs

You have questions and we have answers! Let's chat!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 8 at the latest.

Question

Can I bring a guest, my children, or pets?

Answer

Out of respect for Luke's grandmother, no pets will be allowed for the weekend, as she has a fully functioning farm with chickens, goats, gardens, etc. We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, or extra slots for your children, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding, and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

YES. We will be completely outdoors. We will have large tents in the reception area, over the tables. This will be on grass, so pointy heels are NOT recommended. You will sink. In September in the mountains, the days are normally warm and sunny, and the evenings after the sun goes down are cool, and chilly. A jacket and/or a change of clothes is recommended if you plan to be staying into the evening.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are looking for Sunday casual. The wedding party, Luke and I will be in formal wear, but anything from a sundress to a tux is acceptable. Be comfortable!

Question

Will there be alcohol and other drinks served at the wedding?

Answer

We will be supplying an assortment of kegs, as well as champagne and wine. There will be no hard liquor, that will be BYOB. We will also have bottled water, assorted soft drinks, lemonade, and iced tea.

Question

What kind of food will there be?

Answer

We will be having catering and buffet. Kind of food TBD. Forgive us, we are still in the throes of planning and will have more concrete info as we get closer. We do plan to have a snack table open before the ceremony. After the Ceremony, we will have dinner, and dessert will consist of homemade ice cream by yours truly (Acacia) and a cookie table.
