Question

How do we get to the wedding venue from Resorts World Catskill?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from Resorts World Catskill to the wedding venue. Shuttles will leave every hour after dinner and will run until the end of the night to take guests back to the hotel.

Will there be parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the venue for guests who prefer to drive themselves, but we encourage taking the shuttle to make sure everyone can enjoy the evening without worrying about transportation.

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is requested. The ceremony and dinner will be outside followed by reception in a bar/speakeasy

Are children welcome?

Answer

Children are absolutely welcome to come to our ceremony and dinner. As far as the reception goes, we will leave that to your discretion. Our reception is in a bar like environment which some may not find appropriate for little ones. Personally our son will be returning to the hotel with a family member.

What is the weather typically like this time of year?

Answer

In September the weather is typically very comfortable-mid 70’s during the day and dropping down to the 50’s at night. We are crossing our fingers that it does not rain but incase it does we will hold the ceremony under a tent.

Is there anything specific we should know?

Answer

Yes! We find it pertinent to inform our guests before hand that this is a cannabis friendly wedding and there will be a cannabis bar. We understand that our friends and family may have different comfort levels regarding marijuana. We will do our best to ensure that everyone is respectful and smokes in designated areas although this is a small venue and the smell may be unavoidable.

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

Yes after we say our vows in a short and sweet ceremony the bar will open. We kindly request a “dry” ceremony.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue and space limitations, we’ve only been able to extend plus-ones to specific guests. If you’ve been given a plus one, it will be available during the RSVP process. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’re able to join us for this special day!
