Soquel and Alex have known each other since 1st grade, and became inseparable in 5th grade. Ever since, they have laughed and cried through the happiest and worst of times. Distance can't keep these two from the BFFL promise they made years ago! Life has been full of adventures and keeping in touch on epic trips. Now we are exited to have her share our next epic adventure!
Jessica Blanchard
Maid of Honor
Jessica met Alex at the young age of three at a work party for their parents. They had such a blast, the Blanchards decided to move into the infamous Tara Glen neighborhood, where Jessica and Alex spent their childhood visiting each other by crossing backyards. Many nights spent begging Dale (aka Shrek) for sleepovers earned Jess her place by Alex's side as Co-Maid of Honor. Jessica is a rock in Alex's chaotic life, an anchor that grounds her and keeps her sane!
Grace Prosniewski
Bridesmaid
Grace and Alex also met in 1st grade. They have shared a close friendship in which both have always been free to be their weirdest and truest selves. Music has always been a passion they share, and they've rocked it through a sweaty Warped Tour, and quietly enjoyed a Victorian musical play. Grace has suffered through multiple slap-happy sleepovers where Alex embodied characters like Lord Voldemort and she helped Alex write songs about Dobby the Elf for their band, The Black Roses. Now she'll stand with Alex, through smiles and tears, and support her and all her personalities on the dance floor!
Jenna Russell
Bridesmaid
Jenna is Alex's little sister. They grew up, side by side, experiencing the unique adventure that is being a Russell kid. Jenna is compassionate, kind, and not afraid to tell Alex when she needs to reel it in or quiet down. She is supportive of her people and goes out of her way to make sure their needs are met and no more days/lives/snowmen are ruined or broke! We are blessed to have such a strong and caring sister looking out for our best interests on our big day.
Kyle Steward
Best Man
Kyle is Blake's older brother. They grew up playing playing sports, watching WWE, and annoying each other on a regular basis. Though he's moved across the state, Kyle has always made Alex and Blake feel welcome when visiting and showing them fun and definitely lots of excitement (he's got three wonderful little girls that keep everyone busy)! It was Kyle and Amelia's wedding that Alex marks as the moment she knew Blake was her forever, so it's very special that he'll be standing at Blake's side while our forever comes true!
Troy Pozolo
Groomsman
Troy and Blake met in engineering school at the University of Michigan. Troy keeps Blake young and has always encouraged him to enjoy life and have fun! Although Troy occasionally beats Blake at golf, there's nothing better than looking forward to the fun to be had, and the joy of having Troy at Blake's side.
Corey Beneke
Groomsman
Corey and Blake met in 2010 while working at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube. From competing to resurface an ice rink with a Zamboni the fastest, to bombing the longest drive at the golf course, it's always a good time when these two are together. Their friendship continues to flourish around competitive days of fishing, golfing, playing guitar, and then listening to good music. Here's to bringing years of fun with us to the dance floor with more music and plenty of air-guitar!
Zach Russell
Groomsman
Zach is Alex's older brother, and he and Blake made quick friends. Whether they are bonding over a game of golf, or expressing their dissatisfaction with Detroit sports teams in recent years, the two of them are always laughing together. Zach and Blake are mellow souls that love sports and are great at taking care of Alex. It's a pleasure to have him stand and share the love on our wedding day.
Adam Russell

Adam is Alex's youngest brother. He has been stealing Alex's limelight since his birth, and it only seems right to have him front and center! Adam has a beautiful sense of humor that leaves everyones hearts warm and happy, and that's all we could ask for on our special day.
