Flower Girl
After being Selma's teacher for 1 1/2 years, we can finally just be friends.
Ring Bearer
The most important person at the entire wedding. Hopefully she lets us have some attention.
Matron of Honor
She let me wear her dirty shirts when I didn't pack any on a week long trip. Sister came in clutch.
Matron of Honor
Invited me to her friends' really weird parties since all of my friends lived an hour away. I left in the middle of a hurricane. Thanks for the invite though.
Bridesmaid
I'm so glad she will be at my wedding instead of a graduation party.
Bridesmaid
We lived together for two years in college and found happiness in pizza outings.
Bridesmaid
Heather was my first co-teacher in PA at the start of my career as a preschool teacher. We became very close through our adventures with tons of pee.
Bridesmaid
Brittany is my most reliable friend. She's the friend that everyone wants, but isn't ready for. When you really need an honest opinion, Brittany will provide it. When you just need an ear to listen, she'll still tell you her opinion.
Bridesmaid
She bullied me when we were 4...if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Life got easier after we became friends.
Bridesmaid
She completely stole my best friend, but at least she married him and replaced him with herself.
Best Man
Adam Ray Reichenbach, a friend of Evan's since grade school, has been the butt of some incredibly well-fashioned and intuitive jokes in his time, but the humor directed his way is simply a reflection of the great esteem by which he is held by his group of friends. A Reuben connoisseur, Mr. Reichenbach has been a supreme support system for the engaged couple and is a fantastic partner for adventure.
Groomsman
A man of passion and biting opinion, David Lee DeGrace has been a presence in Evan's life since middle school. The pair have traveled the eastern seaboard, attending concerts for more than a decade and have often logged more hours playing Madden than sleep. Mr. DeGrace has superior intellect but inferior sized feet — yet still is arguably the best dancer in the group.
Groomsman
Benjamin Paul Longenecker used to walk 1.3 miles through wintery tundra (I looked it up) to hang out with Evan during snow days back in middle school and high school. He now drives the "Lemur-mobile" more than 80 miles to attend concerts, sporting events and gambling extravaganzas as often as possible when his day job as a drug dealer (relax... he works for a pharmacy) permits. He is one of Evan's longest and dearest friends.
Groomsman
Joshua Nathan Macy is a slightly older, slightly taller and slightly more New Yorker version of Evan. More than cousins, the groom-to-be and Mr. Macy exchange dozens of text messages a day — typically on the topics of fantasy football, the NBA, the Simpsons and other pop culture staples. The two would be the best of friends even if they did not share a bloodline.
Groomsman
Stephen "the Pirate" D'Agostino and Evan met a few days into freshman year at Temple University, where they each showed a passion for poker, pranks and pontificating debate. Mr. D'Agostino later assumed the role of golf buddy, political ally and realtor, helping Evan and Daniyyel find their dream home.
Groomsman
Joseph William Dill has also been a close friend of Evan's since they met at Temple. "The Styman", as he is affectionately called by those who love him, is a movie aficionado, a poker buddy and one of the most warm and optimistic of Evan's friends. Whether in South Florida, the halls of ESPN's studios or in basement SNG's, Joe and Evan have lived a lifetime of memories in just over a dozen years as friends.
