What are COVID-19 Entry and Exit Requirements for Spain (USA Citizens)?

Answer

U.S. citizens can travel from the United States to Spain: - On non-essential travel (such as tourism or business) if they show they are vaccinated or have a recovery certificate. - On essential travel (such as workers and students with specific long term visas) if they show they are vaccinated, have a recovery certificate, or show a negative COVID test. - Minors up to 12 years of age do not have to show vaccination or negative COVID test. - Minors between 12 and 18 may show they are vaccinated or have a recovery certificate, or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the trip. Vaccines are valid from 14 days after the last dose up to 270 days. If more than 270 days (9 months) have passed since receiving the last required dose of their COVID-19 vaccine, U.S. citizens must show proof of having received a booster shot. The booster shot certificate is valid since the day it was administered. Recovery certificates that are issued at least 11 days after the first positive COVID test, and up to a maximum of 180 days after the date of sampling, are accepted as valid. The COVID tests accepted are those authorized by the European Commission and must have been performed by healthcare professionals after October 1, 2021. Passengers with a Recovery Certificate other than an EU Digital COVID Certificate or equivalent must also provide documentary proof of the diagnostic test from which the Recovery Certificate is derived. Additionally, U.S. citizens traveling from the United States to Spain must present upon arrival in Spain a QR code generated through the Spain Travel Health portal, obtained through the website or by downloading the “SpTH app” in Google Play Store or iTunes App Store for each traveler, regardless of their age and duration of the trip.

Requerimientos COVID-19 para ciudadanos Mexicanos para entrar en España

Pueden viajar a España desde México las personas que cuenten con un certificado médico de recuperación de la enfermedad (que el Ministerio de Sanidad reconozca con este fin, previa comprobación por las autoridades sanitarias) o que cuenten con un comprobante de vacunación (sólo se admiten las siguientes vacunas: Pfizer, Moderna, Astra-Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Sinopharm y SinoVac) expedido por las autoridades competentes de México u otros países. Dicho comprobante sólo permite ingresar en España a partir de los 14 días posteriores a la fecha de administración de la última dosis de la pauta vacunal completa. Actualizaciones importantes: Las personas que viajen desde México a partir del 01 de febrero de 2022 (que no sean españoles o residentes en España o la Unión Europea) deberán presentar el certificado de vacunación con la dosis de refuerzo (de las vacunas arriba señaladas) si han transcurrido más de 270 días desde la administración de la última dosis de la pauta completa. A partir del 14 de febrero de 2022, podrán ingresar a España las personas de 12 años o más y menores de 18 que presenten una prueba de amplificación de ácido nucleico molecular-NAAT (RT-PCR o similar) del SARSCoV-2 con resultado negativo realizada 72 horas antes de la llegada, previa comprobación por las autoridades sanitarias. En Barcelona no hay Uber pero pueden encontrar apps como mytaxi app con la que pueden ordenar o reservar taxis. Si quieren simplemente subirse en un taxi, levanten su mano cuando vean un taxi con la luz verde (el taxi no esta ocupado).

We recommend you to buy T-Familiar. You have 8 metro/bus rides for 10 euros and more than one person can use the ticket (you have free transfers if you spend less than 1h and 30 min between one ride and the next one). You can also find unlimited tickets from 1 to 5 days but it is very expensive and only one person can use the ticket. Recomendamos que compren la tarjeta T-Familiar. Tendrán 8 viajes de metro/bus por 10 euros y la tarjeta la puede usar mas de una persona (cambios de linea o de metro a bus en menos de 1h y media son gratuitos). También hay billetes ilimitados de 1 a 5 días pero son bastante caros y solo puede usar una persona el billete.

You can go from the church to the venue using taxi (15 min ride, there will be a bunch of them outside of the church), or by public transportation (35-40 min ride), or by car parking inside the venue (16 euros for the whole event duration).
