Our Story

On a Tuesday evening during Thanksgiving week, in the heart of Monterey, our story began at the local farmers market. What felt like a simple, ordinary encounter was, in truth, a divine appointment. The very next afternoon, we shared our first date at Alta’s Bakery with coffee, conversation, and the quiet awareness that something rare and God-ordained was unfolding. From the very beginning, there was a deep peace in our hearts and a quiet certainty that this connection was not by chance, but by God’s grace. Since then, we have been nearly inseparable. We recognized early on that the Lord was writing a story far greater than our own plans. In our conversations, our prayers, and the way our lives aligned so naturally, we saw His faithfulness. As it says in Proverbs 3:5–6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” We have felt His guidance in every step that has led us here and have experienced the beauty of walking side by side, supporting one another, and growing together in faith. Every day, we thank God for bringing us together, for guiding our steps, and for preparing our hearts for a love rooted in Him. As we stand before our family and friends on our wedding day, we do so with deep gratitude knowing that this marriage is not only a celebration of our love, but a covenant before God. What began at a farmers market is now becoming a lifelong promise, and we are honored to step into this next chapter surrounded by those we love most. with joyful hearts and grateful spirits, we cannot wait to say “I do” on April 11th, as we step into the covenant He so beautifully began.
