Allison and Abrie first met during their freshman year of college as softball teammates—and let’s just say, it wasn’t love at first sight. Things changed during their sophomore year when their coach, perhaps unknowingly, made the bold decision to room them together during an overnight away game. It was a risky move… and one he’s probably questioned ever since. But that weekend turned out to be a turning point. They realized that maybe the other wasn’t so bad after all—and from that moment on, they’ve been inseparable best friends. Today, Allison lives in Lowell, MA with her boyfriend, TJ, and their two lovable dogs, Bucky and Buddy. She’s a passionate runner (yes, somehow she actually enjoys it) and has competed in several marathons—including the Boston Marathon—with many more on the horizon. Allison is truly the best friend a girl could ask for. She’s supportive, loving, and always goes above and beyond when you need her most. That’s exactly why she’s standing by my side as my Maid of Honor—because there’s no one else I’d rather have next to me on one of the most important days of my life.
