What Is a HENNA Party?

Answer

It is a Palestinian tradition to have a henna party before the wedding. The event is strictly women only and involves a night of music, dancing and of course henna. During the party, artists use a paste made from dried henna leaves to paint beautiful intricate patterns on the hands of the bride-to-be. Rich, embroidered Palestinian thobes are worn and are a representation of heritage, ancestry and hometowns.
