Aj first saw Elie when he knocked on her front door the summer before 8th grade looking for his friend. They met again on the bus to junior high, then again when their sisters became best friends. After being each other's first love, Aj and Elie decided to split and see what the future had in store. Aj said "I am gonna marry you Elie Bullington" but she didn't believe him. After all they were only sophomores in high school. Five years later, Aj reached out and Elie took a chance. It was like no time had passed, they had two 6 hour dates within one weekend. Within a month, Aj once again stated "I am going to marry you". One long distance year, a degree, and two cats later, she said yes.
