HOW WE MET

First comes school, then comes marriage

We were on our last year of undergrad and York College of Pennsylvania not knowing yet how much our last few months would really mean to us. Michael was a Computer Engineer Major and Stephanie was a Business Major with no opportunity to really cross paths except at the local college bar (Murph's). Even through the smokey clouds and the endless dollar wells we know there was something special starting to happen. Running into each other became a common occurrence. After graduating we stayed in touch and it blossomed into something bigger. Many trips were taken, many museums were visited, and many memories were made. With the support of our family and friends we made a semi-long distance relationship work!

HOW HE ASKED

June 2, 2019

Stephanie and Michael spent 6 long years traveling back and forth learning what it meant to be devoted to one another. They made time to see or talk each other every day whether it was driving one hundred miles, video chatting, or a simple two hour long phone call... After finishing his Masters Degree he finally had time to go ring shopping. He knew what she wanted but said nah. I like this one. He thought he could be sneaky and plan a trip to Longwood Gardens ... Then his family went. She was suspicious from the beginning. The whole day he knew she all she was thinking was is this the spot? or is this the spot? But he was waiting for the perfect place where they took a photo years before. After checking the lighting he went for it. He got down on one knee and started to say "Stephanie Marie Santos Abraham would you ..." but was cut short by the tears of joy and Stephanie screaming "I knew it. I knew it!" as she move her head up and down with approval mouthing YES! He slid the ring or her finger as she proceeded to "ugly cry" but it was beautiful! He knew he loved her and always would.
