They met at the University of North Texas. Cody took Amy's picture with the mascot during their first week of orientation and fast-forwarded it to the end of their first semester, when they met again. Amy met Cody on their first day at UNT and knew it would not be the last time they would see each other again. Tyler, Cody's best man, had set them up, and they had their first official date at Starbucks on a study/coffee date. They became best friends first, helping each other study, picking classes for registration, and growing together. Since then, they have had more study dates, coffee dates, and many memories in Denton, TX.
