Devil's Bridge Trail
This was the first trail we hiked in Sedona, needless to say it was a blast! They also offer jeep tours on this trail. Este fue la primera caminata que hicimos en Sedona, ¡No hace falta decir que fue genial! También ofrecen recorridos en jeep por este sendero.
Montezuma Castle National Monument
Montezuma Castle is an ancient abode structure located in central Arizona. The five-story, 20-room building sheltered high in a limestone cliff is sometimes thought to be the former home of the Aztec emperor, Montezuma. Scholars have proven, that the early white settlers who assumed the structure was built by the Aztecs were mistaken. Montezuma Castle was built by cliff-dwelling Sinagua Indians. Sinagua Indians The Sinagua—peaceful, pre-Colombian Native Americans—were hunter gatherers and farmers who grew mainly corn, squash and beans.
Camelback Mountain
Located just 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix, Camelback Mountain is one of Phoenix's best hikes and most popular attractions for thousands of visiting hikers each year. Two difficult trails ascend 1,420 feet to a summit resembling the hump of a camel's back, affording 360-degree views of the surrounding city. Camelback gets its name from its two rock formations that resemble the head and back of a kneeling camel. It became a city park in 1968. Our favorite place to go and be one with nature. There is paddle board and kayak rentals on sight as well as a restaurant and bar. A shuttle near parking will take you down to the marina where you can enjoy the water with a beautiful mountain backdrop. Nuestro lugar favorito para ir y ser uno con la naturaleza. Desert Botanical Garden
The Desert Botanical Garden is beautiful. So many beautiful plants and views. We visited our first time in Arizona and this was a great way to experience the local landscape and plants. the Heard Museum reveals the cultures of tribes in the region through exhibits, demonstrations and live performances and displays the work of contemporary Native American artists.
