Update 8/12/20

** New state guidelines, new wedding structure **

Per the new Massachusetts state guidelines issued on 8/11, we must reduce our wedding guest count, again. At this time, we have decided to have an intimate celebration with immediate family and a few close friends only, rather than postpone for a second time. Although this is not how we envisioned celebrating our marriage and wish we could have everyone we love and cherish present, the most important thing is being able to marry each other. We were looking forward to celebrating with you, but given the current circumstances, we hope you understand. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us! xo Rachel & Rob

How We Met

The Compass Tavern, Worcester MA

11.14.14 It was a Friday night in November of 2014. I was home from college for the weekend and, of course, spending the night with my sister, Kasey. After dinner at J. Anthony’s we met up with our parents and their friends at the new bar in town, The Compass Tavern. Little did we know this is where I was going to meet the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. One drink, two drinks, three drinks, four – Rob finally has a friend introduce him to me. After he met my parents (lol) and bought me a Blue Moon, we exchanged numbers and went on our first date a week later at Mohegan Sun.

The Proposal

Nestlenook Farm, Jackson NH

02.17.19 It was the most gorgeous winter day in New Hampshire. Rob had surprised me with a weekend away at the Snowflake Inn in Jackson. The day of the proposal came, Sunday, and I had absolutely no idea. He even had a surprise planned for us and still, nothing. We headed into North Conway, ate at a cute little breakfast spot and even stopped for some scenic pictures of Mount Washington. His surprise was ice skating and a sleigh ride at Nestlenook Farm *heart melting*. While ice skating he stopped me under a beautiful bridge and asked if he could change my last name. I could not have imagined a better proposal or a better man to spend the rest of my life with. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with all of you! xo
