Yes! We love kids, especially all of your little ones! We welcome the kids to attend the wedding!
Please arrive no later than 2:45 PM for the ceremony to start at 3 PM sharp. This will ensure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
The ceremony and reception will both take place at Oak Knolls Manor in Caledonia, NY.
Both – our ceremony site is outside by the farm fields and our reception will be in the wedding barn. There are large barn doors that will be open during the reception as well for an outside/inside feel. The layout of the venue is very open and spacious. There will be two fire pits under the silos as well as outdoor games such as corn hole.
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for approximately 90 minutes. Guests can head straight to the wedding barn where we will be serving appetizers and beverages. There will also be outdoor games such as corn hole. Feel free to take advantage of the furniture underneath the silos while you wait.
We are excited to see our friends and family get dressed up! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our wedding. Please no white clothing or jeans.
We ask that guests do not wear white or colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride such as cream or ivory.
Yes! We have reserved a hotel room block at the Doubletree in Rochester New York. Please ask for the Daum/ Walker wedding room block when making a reservation. You can find additional information regarding the hotel and room block under the “Travel” tab on our wedding website.
Please RSVP by Saturday, August 6th 2022 so we can start to finalize details for the wedding and plan accordingly. You may RSVP on our wedding website or return the RSVP card back to us in the mail. If you do not RSVP please bring a chair, folding table, and a sandwich.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
No, there is no transportation being provided to/from the hotel. Uber and Lyfts are available for you to arrange if needed.
Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media, our only request is that you tag each post/photo with our wedding hashtag #AboutDaumTime so we can keep track of all of your pictures! HOWEVER, out of respect for our wonderful photographer, please do not take any pictures during the ceremony. We know this may be hard, but Malorie is amazing at what she does. You'll see pictures from the wedding soon enough! Also try to be mindful of the fact that she and her second photographer will be taking photos throughout the entire wedding day. Did These photos that are very important to us. Thank you!
