I remember seeing his pictures and knew I had to email him! He sounded shy and like he didn't know what to say about himself. I asked him something corny like, "Well what type of things do you like to do?" We talked for a couple months before we finally met up. The morning of our date, my car was in the shop, so I took my old car. About halfway to work, it over heats and leaves me stranded on 91 and I was over 2 hours late to work. I remember thinking to myself, that if this was the way my day would go, I probably shouldn't go on the date. That would have been the biggest mistake of my life! I got lost of course, talking to my sister on the ride there! He tells me later he thought I had stood him up. I called him to let him know I was running late, and that was the first time we had heard each other's voices. He was very attractive and made me laugh, a lot! I went to work the next morning and told my coworker I thought I was in love. She laughed at me and had me start from the being. That was only the beginning.
We are both terrible at gift giving, in that we can't wait to give them! So before Christmas even came, he had given me ALL of my presents. My two favorites were the ones he made by hand. the matching shoe racks for the front door and a beautiful table for by the wall. So we sit down and start to have dinner, and he tells me I didn't look at the table good enough. So I chuckle and go look again, and there I found two small jewelry boxes. So of course I said YES!!
