Our Story

One Friday night in November 2019, Brad was out relaxing with a friend, unwinding from a long week of work. Wanting a change from Captain and coke, he ordered something a little sweeter. “Half Stella Artois and half Angry Orchard, please,” Brad respectfully called out to the bartender. "Did you just order a half Stella and half Angry Orchard?" Brad heard someone shout. Little did he know, his future wife was sitting a few seats down eating a quesadilla, shocked that she heard a stranger order the same unique drink concoction she was sipping on. The two strangers shared a brief conversation until Brad had to leave for his next destination. Knowing he wanted to continue the conversation, he wrote his phone number on the back of his bar tab receipt and signed it 'BRad,' risking that a lovely girl may be turned off by this type of juvenile signature. To his surprise, Alyssa did not have any issues with this signature but she later revealed the turn off was actually the excessive silicone bracelets and awkwardly long hair. As the days passed, they found a yearning towards each other; wanting to know more about the other. They easily talked about everything from their favorite foods to the skeletons in the back of their closets. They went on dates, met each other's friends, and before they knew it, they were spending most of their free time together. So it was no surprise when Alyssa decided to take a leap of faith into the relationship by moving in with Brad, breaking her current lease and even losing her security deposit! Brad proposed intimately at home with candles, flowers, and the sweetest words followed by a small celebration at the pub where they met… obviously ordering the drink concoction that brought them together years ago. Fast forward to November 1, 2024, Brad and Alyssa got married with only their parents present before being escorted to the airport by their officiant and brother, Adam. “Altar-to-Airport” if you will. They spent a week honeymooning in Jamaica and basking in being Newlyweds. The excitement of building a life and future together continued as they celebrated this past Valentine’s day by closing on a house and now spend most of their time turning it into a “home.” Brad and Alyssa thank you all for your support and friendship, surviving and thriving with them through the years. Even before they met, your actions have helped shape them into the people they are today. So please join Alyssa and Brad in celebrating their marriage on their one year anniversary. Life and love will always find a way. They love all of you very much.
