FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request your RSVP by August 1. Please use the RSVP tab on our website to let us know if you’ll be joining the celebration!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are asking guests to dress in cocktail attire with a coastal elegance — stylish, sophisticated, yet comfortable enough for an evening by the water. For women: flowy cocktail dresses, dressy separates, or chic jumpsuits work beautifully. For men: dress pants with a short-sleeved button-down are a great choice for this event. While not mandatory, we encourage guests to embrace coastal-inspired textures, breathable fabrics, and colors that complement the stunning bayfront background! The ceremony will be outdoors, so we recommend shoes that can handle grass — think block heels, wedges, or dressy flats (stilettos might sink or be a bit tricky on the grass!).

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm, so we ask guests to arrive and be seated by 4:45 pm. You can begin seating as early as 4:30 pm! We don’t want you to miss a moment — especially the big “I do”!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We’ve decided to keep the celebration adults-only, with the exception of children 12 and older. If your child is invited, their name will be included on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space and venue limitations, we can only accommodate the individuals listed on your RSVP. If you've been given a plus one, their name will already be listed on your RSVP form. If you're unsure, feel free to check the form to see who’s invited. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What is the parking situation like?

Answer

There are 149 first-come, first-served parking spots available directly outside the venue. We encourage guests to carpool or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft—especially if you plan on drinking. Let’s keep it fun and safe!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

A little bit of both! Everything’s happening at the Coronado Community Center, and we’re taking full advantage of the beautiful weather: - The ceremony will be out on the grass at the Glorietta Bay Promenade Park. - Cocktail hour is on the outdoor patio—perfect for those golden hour vibes. - Then we’ll head inside to the Nautilus Room for dinner, dancing, and all the fun stuff.

Question

Am I allowed to take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

We are requesting that the ceremony be unplugged! Please keep your phones and cameras tucked away so our photographer can capture all the special moments without distractions. Don’t worry—we’ll share the photos with you afterward! Feel free to take pictures during cocktail hour and the reception!

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort. Please look under the travel section for more information.

Question

How do I let you know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

When you RSVP, there will be a question where you can note any dietary restrictions or food allergies. We’ll work with our caterer to ensure everyone’s needs are met, so just be sure to include any details!
