We first met in church, where what started as simple conversations slowly grew into something we both knew was special. On June 23, 2024, we went on our very first date at a cozy Thai restaurant — and from that day, everything just clicked. Since then, our relationship has been filled with laughter, prayer, and countless moments that remind us we’re truly meant for each other. From sharing our favorite music (yes, Brandy and Monica are always on repeat!) to dreaming about future trips to Spain or Italy, we’ve built a love that’s both fun and deeply rooted in faith and family. Abimbola loves bringing creativity, warmth, and joy into everything we do, while Ayotunde adds his wisdom, humor, and a steady sense of calm. Whether he’s reading one of his favorite authors, Mario Puzo, or playing classic Boyz II Men tracks, Ayo brings his passions and his big heart into every part of our journey together.

On May 25, Ayotunde asked the most important question of his life in the beautiful Mediterranean restaurant Medusa, located in the heart of Manhattan. The evening was filled with romance, delicious food, and the perfect atmosphere. With a mixture of nerves and excitement, Ayotunde got down on one knee — and without hesitation, Abimbola said “yes!” It was a magical moment, one they’ll both treasure forever, marking the beginning of their journey to forever. Now we can’t wait to say “I do” and celebrate this next chapter surrounded by all of you — our family and friends who have been part of our story from the very beginning.
