While Abbie jet-setted from Spain to be at a wedding she knew she couldn't miss, Antonio was graced with an invite after meeting Andrew, the groom, only 6 months prior. Yet, they wouldn't have met if it wasn't for matchmaker Mrs. Jackie, pulling them into a conversation. And while everyone had their suspicions, starting a relationship was the furthest thing from their mind.

You could say it takes some confidence to fly to Madrid and tell a girl you like her after one face-to-face conversation, but anyone who knows Antonio is probably not surprised! He came ready to drill her with questions and throughout a night of tapas and dancing, she artfully delivered her answers. 18 sleepless hours later, she knew there was something there yet he was stuck in the halls of indecision.

While Abbie nor Antonio remembers the exact date, the conversation was unforgettable. Not even a month into dating Antonio knew that Abbie was the girl he was going to marry. Thankfully he was wise enough to keep this thought to himself, you can probably imagine how alarming that would sound to a girl still processing the fact that she was dating someone! Yet, when the question, "What does the statement I love you mean to you?" came up Antonio knew he had to be honest, he truly did love her and was sure to let her know.

For the 3rd Thanksgiving in a row, the Chavez family headed to the serene Arkansas forest for some much needed time away. While she was under the impression that family photos were going to be taken, he had scouted a perfect location, concocted an alibi for bringing his guitar, and had the ring locked and loaded.
