Maid of Honor
Courtney and I met in 2017 when I was preparing to go on the World Race- an 11 month long mission trip to 11 different countries. As soon as we met, I knew I wanted to be her friend. Courtney is one of those people that enchants everyone she meets- there's just someting special about her. She is the most kind, generous, thoughtful, and wise friend that I've ever had. I consider her family. I've learned so much from her over the almost decade of friendship that we've shared. We spent years as roommates at our sweet hay farm setup in Gainesville, GA that we lovingly called "The Cabin." I taught her how to be a great cat mom and how to mow grass, and she taught me how to buy clothes that fit me and keep up with my laundry! Thankfully, she lives just a short flight away in Chicago- although Cam and I are still scheming to get her to move to ATL. She and Cameron have developed a sweet relationship, and she played a huge role in planning our surprise engagement/engagement party. We both adore her and we couldn't imagine our wedding day without her there.
Best Man
Christian and I met our first day at training for American Eagle (Envoy) Airlines. Neither of us knew many people in the class, and my buddy Dru (also in the wedding party) and I struck up a conversation with him. Although after class assignments, Christian headed to a Chicago base (with a much cooler airplane) while I was assigned a DFW base. Layovers in each other’s cities always meant time to hang. From Christmas Eve services with each other while stuck on reserve, to gambling in Vegas, Christian has been one of the most loyal and trustworthy people in my life. Hopefully, one day, he’ll finally listen to me and apply to Delta.
Bridesmaid
I met Josie in summer of 2023 when I first moved to Atlanta. The first night we met was the first night in my new small group. Josie wasn't so sure she wanted to be my friend after our first interaction playing "We're not really strangers," but she eventually came around. Over the past couple of years, Josie has become my best pal in Atlanta. We spend alot of our time in the gym, playing pickleball, watching movies, and eating foods we probably shouldn't be eating. Josie is an oncology nurse, has a pasison for theology, and loves Chick fil a sweet tea more than anyone I've ever met. She has walked with me through my whole relationship with Cameron, and has been an encourager and a supporter to us both. Cam and I both love spending time with her- she's easily our most frequent "third wheel." She's more like a sister to us than a friend.
Groomsman
Charlie and I met in flight school in 2017. We later became best buds, spending lots of time talking about airplanes, quizzing each other on aviation-related material, and eventually becoming roommates for 2 years. Charlie and I have gotten to hang together all across the world, whether it was one of our multiple Mexico trips or our day trip to Tokyo. Charlie is the one person in the world that shares my same humor to a tee and is the first person I always send memes to, knowing he’ll share in my humor.
Bridesmaid
Ashley and I have been pals since our freshman year of college when she introduced me to our favorite group boardgame- Avalon. I can still remember sitting in her tiny dormroom learning how to play this nerdy game with her and her roommate, Abbi. She is a nurse for post-partum mothers and is a gentle and patient friend. Ashley has stuck with me as a friend, even when I didn't deserve her friendship. She has taught me about perseverance and kindness, and I'm so thankful to be her friend. She and her husband Eric are two of our favorite people- I'm pretty sure Cameron and Eric have been obsessed with each other since the day they met.
Groomsman
Zac and I met through friends of friends when he was looking for a roommate after just moving to Dallas years ago. We literally met for the first time when he showed up to move his stuff in. Nervous of how this new roommate situation was going to work out, Zac quickly became a super close friend and the best roommate that I’ve ever had. After finding out about Zac’s love for travel, I threw him on my flight benefits for a year, which resulted in ski tips, hiking Lake Tahoe, and introducing him to Carmine’s in NYC. While one of the quietest people I know, Zac is one of the most intelligent and caring people I’ve ever met.
Bridesmaid
Erin and I met my freshman year of college when we were put into the same small group at our student ministry. She is one of those people that everyone loves to be around- the absolute life of the party always! She is funny, caring, and always down for an adventure. Erin is the heart of our college friend group. The planner of the parties. The keeper of the memories. Cameron and I were lucky enough to be able to celebrate her wedding with her this past October.
Groomsman
Will and I met randomly one night through a mutual friend. Our paths crossed a few months later while I was hosting an awards banquet where Will was a recipient. After the banquet, we kept in contact with each other, realizing we had a ton in common. From Will teaching me commercial pilot maneuvers to him and Steevi (wife) cooking me steak dinners to him crashing with me when commutes don’t quite work out, we’ve had our fair share of fun times.
Bridesmaid
Lizzy and I traveled the world together doing ministry on The World Race- 11 countries in 11 months. Lizzy is one of those friends who I can go without talking to for months and then pick back up with where we left off without feeling like we missed a beat. She is a teacher who is passionate about the kids she cares for. She is one of the most generous people I know- always going out of her way to serve someone in her community in Huntsville. I'm so thankful for Lizzy and how I know I have a friend for life in her.
Groomsman
Zach and I both attended Liberty University and loosely knew of each other there. However, the day after moving to Atlanta, we (literally) ran into each other at the gym. After finding out I had just moved here, he invited me to a baseball game that night and helped get me plugged in. Days off from work usually mean meeting up with Zach for a workout and cold plunge session; along with me trying to convince him to move over to the Airbus so that we can buddy-bid our schedules together.
Bridesmaid
Hannah is my oldest friend- we met in our kindergarten class in Owensboro, Kentucky. Our moms became fast friends and still talk to each other daily. Together we survived years of parent-coached softball and cross country teams, co-family vacations, and had many a sleepover and pool party at my parents house. She's one of those friends that would defend me in a fight, and then turn around and kick my behind if I deserved it. Everyone needs a friend like Hannah.
Groomsman
Jack and I met in initial pilot training at Delta, through mutual friends. After realizing we had both done the same internship in college and had a ton of mutual friends from that, we quickly became good friends with each other. Jack is one of the first people that I pick up the phone to call for questions or advice. Our shared humor about the same things and constant joking with each other has been the highlight of our friendship. Jack is the kind of friend that will drop whatever he’s doing to help a friend out, as evidenced by one Christmas Eve when I called him and Leah (his wife) to tell them that I got stuck in Minneapolis. They cancelled 4 family events in order to host me, to make sure that I didn’t have to spend the holiday alone.
Bridesmaid
Jordan is Cameron's cousin and one of our best friends. She has been a sounding board for the both of us our whole relationship. We both call her when we need advice, encouragment, support, or a home cooked meal. We look up to her so much and have learned alot about family, relationships, and trusting the Lord's plan and timing for our lives. We love her so much and are so excited to have her be a part of our wedding.
Groomsman
Dru and I originally met through his dad back in 2018. After loosely knowing each other, we showed up to the first day of airline training to find out that not only were we in the same new-hire class but that we were also sim partners. Our friendship started by spending 8 hours a day studying at the LaQuinta for 2 weeks straight. Picking up the phone to call Dru will result in no less than a 60-minute call, with him describing all food as “dank”. Dru is one of the people that I love catching up with the most and talking about airplanes and Golden Retrievers with.
Bridesmaid
Cierra is my little sister. She's a social worker by profession and has a huge heart for serving kids and families in need. She is funny, smart, and strong. While she can easily outlift me in the gym on leg day, I've still got her beat on upper body days! We both love being aunties to our baby nephew, Bentley, and enjoy competing for the title of "favorite aunt."
Bridesmaid
Kayla is my big sister. She's always played the role of care-taker to me and my little sister. She's always looked out for both of us always made sure we survived those days home alone without the parents! She's mom to my sweet nephew, Bentley. She's loyal, selfless, and caring. It's been amazing to watch how motherhood has shaped her and changed her for the better.
Ring Bearer
Bentley is Abby's nephew. He's absolutely obsessed with soon-to-be "Uncle Cam who flies airplanes." He loves kindergarten, reading story books, and playing outside. He's a sweet boy and we're so happy to have him be a part of our day!
