If you're flying into Portland for our wedding, you’ll be arriving at Portland International Airport (PDX)—ranked among the best airports in the U.S. for its ease of travel and local charm. Getting to and from PDX: Location: About 10 miles (20–30 minutes by car) from downtown Portland. Transportation Options: Rideshare & Taxis: Uber, Lyft, and traditional taxis are available at the arrivals level. Rental Cars: Multiple car rental companies are on-site. Public Transit: The MAX Red Line light rail runs directly from the airport to downtown in about 40 minutes. Direct Flights: PDX offers nonstop flights to many major U.S. cities and international destinations. Booking early can help secure better rates. TSA & Security: PDX is known for efficient security lines, but plan for standard wait times (30–45 minutes during peak hours). Airport Amenities: Food & Drinks: Local favorites like Stumptown Coffee and Tillamook make layovers more enjoyable. Shopping: Pick up a last-minute gift or Oregon-made souvenirs (tax-free!). Our wedding venue is in a beautiful, remote location, which means rideshare options like Uber and Lyft may be very limited or unavailable. To make things easier, we will have a shuttle bus running to and from The Duniway Hotel and one other location (TBD). We highly recommend using the shuttle, carpooling, or designating a driver to ensure a smooth trip home. If you need help coordinating a ride, let us know—we want everyone to get back safely! More details on the shuttle schedule will be shared closer to the wedding.
