WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

One evening Abigale was (naturally) running late to meet her mother for dinner at a delicious restaurant in Frisco. As she was doing her makeup and driving, she received a text message stating "Where. Are. You???? Our server is your HUSBAND." Much to her chagrin, Abigale laughed, rolled her eyes, and rushed in to find their table. When the server, named René, came to the table Abigale was in fact stunned by his devastating good looks and kind demeanor. Her mother proceeded to tell them all about each other and, rumor has it, began to plan the wedding right then and there.

One hot sunny day in the midst of quarantine, Rene was stopping at the gas station to fill up on the way to his uncle's house. As he walked back out to his car, he heard a slightly familiar female voice call "Rene?" he looked around to find a slightly bewildered Abigale dressed for the beach smiling at him. "What are you doing here?" they asked in unison. It had been months since they'd last seen each other at the restaurant and Abigale was sure fate wouldn't allow her to ever see him again. Rene on the same hand had assumed that thanks to covid he may never have the chance to ask her out. Capitalizing on this opportunity, Rene casually asked, "Do you think I could have your number?" Abigale smiled (again) and as they say, the rest is history.

It was Valentine's Day. The most romantic day of the year. Rene had secretly gone ring shopping and could not wait another minute to propose. As they got dressed for dinner, Rene suddenly looked at Abigale and said, "I didn't get you a present." She shook her head and laughed. "It's okay!" Rene pressed, "Are you sure? Are you mad?" Again, Abigale shook her head, laughed, and answered no. As they sipped old fashions Rene asked again, when they got in the car he asked... again, and when they got to the restaurant (after listening to some very aggressive rap music on the drive) he asked - again. "I am not mad! But I will be if you ask me one more time!" Abigale snapped. They went inside and proceeded to have the most amazing meal of their lives. After some time, Rene looked lovingly into Abigale's eyes. "You know how much I love you right?" she beamed and nodded. In one swift motion Rene pulled out a box from his coat pocket, Abigale gasped - a gift? Instantly he was down on one knee "Will you do life with me?" was all she could hear from the pure shock of the moment. "Is that a yes?" he confirmed. "Yes. Yes! YES!" The applause from the restaurant exploded.
