Summer semi-formal/cocktail attire (i.e. dress pants and a button down shirt, suits and ties, cocktail dresses, or anything along those lines). Fun colors and patterns are encouraged! Please note that it might be hot during the day and could get chilly at night! We strongly recommend bringing a layer or two - both the ceremony and reception are outside. Shoes: please wear shoes that are outdoor friendly - the ceremony and reception are a 10 min walk apart on gravel/grass, and the reception is outside as well. A shuttle will be available for those who prefer not to walk.
On this site - please see the RSVP tab
All events are at the Whispertree Retreat. The Address is 12378 Boonville Road, Boonville, California 95415. GPS coordinates are: 39.0253° N, 123.2920° W
Yes! There is room for parking, you may also take the shuttle from The Boonville Hotel or Anderson Valley Inn (see the "Travel, Stay, & Shuttle" page). The drive from Boonville is about 10 minutes through a windy canyon road.
Our ceremony will be at 3:30pm on Saturday, June 7th. We recommend you arrive by 3:00 to give yourself time to walk to the ceremony site.
We recommend having a car as you'll likely want it to explore the valley and there isn’t any public transportation in the area. If you're planning to drink, you can either designate a driver or use the shuttle we've arranged. Unfortunately, Uber and Lyft don't seem to be active in the area yet.
You will most likely NOT have any cell reception at the venue (Verizon is spotty, AT&T is worse, and we haven’t tested others). There is plenty of WiFi however!
There are numerous wifi networks throughout the property but the wifi password will always be the same. Wifi password: wildawake
Sure! For those staying onsite at Whispertree, there are refrigerators/stoves/microwaves in each of the housing options at Whispertree. You may bring your own food if you would like for earlier in the day on Saturday, otherwise feel free to explore breakfast and lunch options in Boonville or Ukiah. If you have any dietary restrictions for the dinners on Friday or Saturday, please let us know! (There is an option to add any dietary restrictions while RSVPing)
Saturday will be an adults-only event, with the exception of nursing-age babies, who are welcome at all weekend events. We kindly ask that children stay at home or with a babysitter on Saturday. However, kids are welcome at the Friday night welcome party and Sunday morning brunch!
Everyone must be offsite by 1pm sharp on Sunday. If you are staying in a Bell Tent or Cabin, the venue has requested that people are fully packed up and out of the Bell Tents & Cabins by 11:00am so that they can start cleaning. We still have the rest of the site until 1:00pm and you are more than welcome to hang out!
