We’re so excited to celebrate with you at Abigail and Umar’s wedding on Naval Base Coronado! Every non-military guest (U.S. citizen or anyone with a Social Security number) 18 years and older must complete a brief registration and background check. Below are the steps —and the information we need—to make this process smooth and on schedule. ________________________________________ SPONSOR INFORMATION When completing the DBIDS pre-enrollment form, please enter the following sponsor details: Sponsor Name: James Working Email Address: jamesworking17@gmail.com Phone Number: 619-246-2589 Service: Navy State: CA Site: Naval Base Coronado Start/End Date: 10/11/2025 Purpose of Visit: Wedding of Abigail Callahan & Umar Ahmed at I-Bar ________________________________________ Step-by-Step Instructions for All Guests 18+ (including +1s) REGISTER VIA DBIDS PRE-ENROLLMENT: Go to https://dbids-global-enroll.dmdc.mil/preenrollui/ Complete the form using your legal name exactly as it appears on your driver’s license, date of birth, Social Security Number (if you have one), and any other requested details. After successful registration, you will receive a unique QR code via email (as a PDF). EMAIL US YOUR INFORMATION: Send a single email to jamesworking17@gmail.com with: Full Legal Name (exactly as on your driver’s license) Email Address used for DBIDS registration) QR Code (either attach the PDF containing the QR code or copy the alphanumeric code directly above it; ignore the expiration date) WE'LL PICK UP AND DISTRIBUTE YOUR PASS Once we receive your name and QR code, we'll submit everyone’s information to base security for the required background check. Approved guests will be issued a pass, which we’ll pick up on your behalf. We’ll then coordinate with you to collect your individual pass before the big day. Photo ID Requirement: Everyone 18 or older entering the base with a pass must present a valid photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, etc).
Travel Note
• Non-U.S. Residents: If you are not a U.S. resident or citizen, you will be escorted onto the base. A 12-person van will depart from the visitor center to I-Bar beginning at 3:40 PM. Last pick up will be at 4:10PM. If you prefer to drive your own car, a military ID holder can escort you—just follow them through the gate. • Photo ID Requirement: Everyone (18 or older) must have a valid form of photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport) when entering the base.
Shuttle

Any guest without a base pass may take our 12-person shuttle van from the Visitor Lot. We’ll begin escorting onto the base at 3:40 PM, and the last van departs at 4:10 PM. To reserve your spot and help us coordinate, please email jamesworking17@gmail.com. Our drivers will meet you at the Visitor Lot and escort you onto the base. We haven’t secured a room block at any particular hotel, so please feel free to choose whatever lodging in Coronado or San Diego works best for you. Below are a few recommended options in Coronado to get you started: Hotel del Coronado Loews Coronado Bay Resort Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa Glorietta Bay Inn El Cordova Hotel Best Western Plus Suites Hotel Coronado Island Crown City Inn If you’d prefer to stay on the mainland, there are numerous excellent hotels in nearby San Diego (e.g., Gaslamp Quarter, La Jolla, or Pacific Beach). Whichever you choose, please book directly with the hotel at your earliest convenience.
