It all began on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. Tyler and I (Abigail) first met as a groomsman and bridesmaid in our mutual friends' wedding (thanks Logan and Schafer!). We hit it off instantly, and after that first weekend I told my closest friends, "I'm pretty sure I just met my future husband." There was just one catch—Tyler was in the Air Force and would be moving to Charleston in just a couple of months. Knowing our time together in Hawaii was limited, we made the most of it. Those first few months were filled with intentional, unforgettable moments—hiking, beach days, and date nights on the North Shore, soaking up the island life. It didn’t take long for us to realize that this was it. Shortly after Tyler left Hawaii, I packed up my life and moved across the country to Charleston—yes, for a man I’d only known for a few months! But I had no doubts. My heart was at peace, knowing that this was the man God had put on this earth for me. Our first year together in Charleston has been a dream. In May, we welcomed our sweet German Shepherd, Odin, who quickly became the center of our world. We've made incredible friends that make Charleston feel like home. And Tyler, an avid (and amazing, even though he won't admit it) golfer, has become my personal coach, and now golfing is one of our favorite weekend activities. In July, Tyler proposed on the beach at Sullivan's Island—just the two of us, with a surprise appearance from Odin, of course. It was the perfect, intimate moment that we'll cherish forever. We’re beyond excited to celebrate the start of our marriage with the people who mean the most to us. We can’t wait to share this next chapter with you!
