The Wedding Website of Abigail Hope Ray and Seth Martin Stokes
San Miguel de Allende is a top destination in Mexico, making it fairly easy to travel to! Most connecting flights fly through Mexico City and arrive in either León or Santiago de Querétaro. This city is filled with magic. We cannot wait for you to experience the colonial streets and bright colors of this beautiful town.

Flight

Flying to San Miguel De Allende

Bajïo International Airport (BJX), León, México Querétaro Intercontinental Airport (QRO), Santiago de Querétaro, México Both airports are about an hour and a half drive from San Miguel de Allende. Please book flights that allow you to accommodate the additional drive once you land in Mexico.

Hotel Suggestions

San Miguel de Allende is full of boutique hotels and Airbnbs that will allow you to enjoy your time in Mexico. You will not find large hotel chains in the city nor the surrounding areas. If you plan on traveling in a group, we recommend that you check out AirBnB as there are numerous stays to choose from. AirBnB tends to be the most economical option for those who are looking for comfort on a budget. However, we provided 2 hotel options below for those who would like to stay close to the wedding venue. Please note: There are no blocked rooms at either of the hotels.

Hotel

Hotel Casa Rosada

12 Cuna de Allende, San Miguel de Allende, Gto. 37700, Mexico

This hotel is located about half a block away from the wedding venue. A great option for those who anticipate a late night!

Hotel

CASA HOYOS

14 Mesones, San Miguel de Allende, Gto. 37700, Mexico

For a mid-century modern boutique hotel, we recommend checking out Casa Hoyos. From the interesting interior design to the up and coming rooftop bar, it is a great spot to be for the wedding weekend. Please note: this is an adults only hotel.

Travel Note

Rental Cars

Although tempting, we do NOT recommend renting a car for your stay in San Miguel de Allende. The city is entirely walkable. The streets are narrow and offer little to no parking options in the Zona Centro where most of the wedding festivities will take place. Uber and cabs are readily available (and very budget friendly!).
