We met in high school in 2010 in Baytown, Texas. I thought he was cute, so I did what any brave teenage girl would do—I went and sat next to him. What started as a small, bold move turned into an easy friendship, lots of laughter, and a bond we didn’t even realize was shaping our future. A year later, in 2011, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Life has taken us through many chapters together: his service in the United States Marine Corps, college years, buying our first home, welcoming four pets, and becoming parents to two beautiful children. Through every season, we’ve grown not only as a couple, but as a family. Most importantly, our journey led us back to our faith. Together, we found our way home to the Catholic Church, learning to place Christ at the center of our relationship. What began as young love has become a vocation—rooted in friendship, strengthened by sacrifice, and guided by Jesus. We are endlessly grateful for God’s grace and for everyone who has been part of our story. -Abby
