From Sean's Perspective: When Abi and I were in eighth grade, we started to become closer friends after knowing each other for a couple years. We would hang out at school and talk on the phone after school everyday. We would even joke about trying to set each other up with our other friends! It wasn't until closer to the end of our eighth grade year that I realized that I was starting to like her. Then, at our eighth grade graduation party, we went on a walk down to the cliffs. On our walk, I double-checked and asked her if she had any interest in my friend I had been trying to set her up with. She said she didn't, so then I took my shot and asked her to be my girlfriend. At first, she laughed because she thought I was joking! When she realized that I was serious, and that I was actually the one who liked her, she then said yes! Little did I know that nearly ten years later we would be getting married.
From Abi's perspective: Sean and I spent the Sunday quarantined together at home. In the evening, we made our Hello Fresh dinner of cheeseburgers and potato wedges together, and sat down on the back patio to eat. The sun was setting, we were next to the flowers Sean had planted for me earlier in the day, and we were watching stand-up comedy while we ate. Once we finished eating and started to clean up, he pulled me to the side and told me to wait. He started talking about what our future was going to look like together (I was sweating). Next thing I knew, he was down on one knee and I was looking at the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. Sean said, "Abigail Marie Galletti, will you marry me?" And of course I said yes! We not only made it through quarantine, but we came out engaged!
