Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP by September 1st.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. To help everyone feel on the same page and to avoid anyone feeling over or underdressed, we’re asking guests to follow a black-tie optional dress code. That generally means a tuxedo or suit, or a long gown, formal dress, or other elevated evening wear. The venue is mostly indoors, including the dance floor, but there are some beautiful outdoor areas to explore as well. Since it’s late September in Utah, the daytime may be warm, but evenings can get a bit chilly. There will be a place to store coats if you’d like to bring one. We’d love for the celebration to feel elegant and special, but most of all, we want you to feel like yourself—confident, comfortable, and ready to celebrate in whatever attire feels best to you within those guidelines.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your families, due to venue restrictions (it's a historic property!) and the more adult nature of the event, we’re only able to accommodate teenagers. If someone in your household is included on your RSVP, they’re absolutely invited; otherwise, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for child care. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends. Due to venue capacity restrictions, we’re only able to accommodate guests who are specifically listed on the RSVP. If you received a plus one, their name will appear on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding. If you’re unsure about whether you can bring a guest, please feel free to reach out, and we’d be happy to confirm. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary valet parking will be available at the venue, and tips for the valet drivers are greatly appreciated if you choose to use this service. Please include in your RVSP if you plan to bring a vehicle so we can properly plan. Due to parking capacity, we kindly recommend carpooling if you're able to help accommodate all guests. If you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City Downtown feel free to utilize our Lyft Event code for a ride to and from the hotel to the venue. Check the travel page for more details. There is also street parking nearby, though it may be limited, and you might need to walk a short distance to the venue. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no hotel shuttle from the Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City Downtown which is who we have partnered with for our hotel block. However, we will be setting up a Lyft Event several days before the wedding. You are welcome to use the code to get a ride to and from the venue from the hotel. Check back before the wedding under the Travel page for more details. If you are staying elsewhere, you can check with hotel staff to request a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport or the venue if they can accommodate that.

Question

Will there be dinner?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a delicious spread for you to enjoy, including a variety of hors d'oeuvres, followed by a full dinner and, of course, dessert! We want to make sure everyone has plenty to eat, so come hungry and ready to indulge. There will also be a bar featuring a selection of cocktails, wine, beer as well as refreshing mocktails for those who prefer not to drink alcohol. We can’t wait to share this meal with you as part of the celebration!
